I have written in the past about the Dr. Ellis’ study on Resilient Citizens and the kinds of data that FEMA is collecting on people in the United States. I have done a lot of research over the years on the capabilities of FEMA and what they really can do in an emergency.
My sources on the ground in disaster areas tell me that FEMA is often an underwhelming presence. This could be because they are working with larger entities and not conducting the boots on the ground recovery work. In other words, they might not have as many foot soldiers in certain areas.
A decade ago, fears about FEMA camps were making the headlines. We were certain people would be rounded up and taken away. Now, there is something else we must concern ourselves with when it comes to FEMA and your freedoms.
Title 32 Changed During Covid
FEMA has not the teeth nor the manpower to conduct something like Martial Law. On their own FEMA wouldn’t really have the capability to limit your rights at all in a disaster or emergency. I must imagine that the average FEMA emergency management employee is going to leave you alone if you give them a resounding NO on any of their requests.
However, in 2020 something changed dramatically. You see, one of the things that happens every time we suffer a national tragedy or disaster is American citizens lose rights. They are crushed under the weight of an ever-growing government.
Title 32 changed during COVID-19 and allowed the National Guard, which is activated by a state’s governor and funded by the state, to be funded by the federal government. So, through the recommendation of FEMA the National Guard can be activated, if the states governor agrees, and the limitations of the states budget no longer affect the mission.
Since the US government simply prints money out of thin air, that means that it can fund National Guard resources indefinitely. That is exactly the reason for the Title 32 change. If needed FEMA can recommend an area be locked down and put under indefinite martial law using the National Guard.
At that point your rights as a citizen begin to dissolve very rapidly. When urban centers descend into chaos during martial law, seeking refuge in the wilderness could be the only option. But surviving in the wild isn’t just about basic skills—it’s about knowing how to live off the land long-term.

How Could Something Like That Happen?
Over 40 different campuses in the US are experiencing protests due to the Hamas – Israel War. This is merely one category of protest in the US now. The closer we get to the election season the more civil unrest we will see.
If concerned citizens and professional agitators were all we had to deal with that would be one thing.
Now, add to that the undeniable fact that there are terrorists and foreign operatives traveling into this nation through the southern border. They disperse and we know nothing of them beyond that.
Border patrol gets lucky and catches a few but how many get through? How many are waiting for the chaos of election time to do some real damage? The answer to that is NO ONE KNOWS.
A combination of riots over election results and nefarious attacks on infrastructure could easily result in FEMA rolling into the biggest cities in our nation and advising governors to bring in the help of the National Guard.
At that point we have all the pieces in play for serious oppression and the dissolving of your rights.
We Keep Growing Government to Solve Problems
All of this comes from our radical dependence on government for every discomfort that exists in life. We have long traded freedom for security and the government has printed its way into our hearts, killing our currency and providing just enough in one-time payments, free prescription drugs, and stimulus to shut us up.

Prepared citizens groups, civil defense, nonprofit disaster relief organizations are all options for dealing with disasters and emergencies at the citizens’ level. It is true that large scale recovery will require governmental help, but it is not fair to put the bulk of disaster recovery on the government and then get angry when they take action we do not approve of.
We must invest in our preparedness in the same way we invest in any other important part of our life. A massive storm left one million people without power in Dallas and north of the city. That is staggering!
There are two sides to the coin. As citizens we simply cannot rebound from all types of disasters or weather. For example, the kinds of decimation that things like wildfires can lay upon us. Still, how much of our time and money do we invest in preps and plans so that when an emergency occurs or a storm approaches, we have more options than just ride it out?

We can do more and in turn the government will be in a position where they can do less. I am certain there are people within FEMA who love the idea of executing a massive power grab over the citizenry in the face of a disaster. Certain types of people get off on that kind of stuff. However, the majority of FEMA is made up of citizens who want to help and want to do a good job.
We are living through a radically divisive and nerve-wracking time in the United States. Trust in our institutions is at an all-time low, and I don’t see how that is going to change in the near future.
The best way to weather the storm we are living through is to create a base level of preparedness. You must be able to stand on your own two feet in the face of calamity. You must be able to take advantage of your God given rights and not have the world wash out from under you. In this modern iteration of America that requires you be prepared.
Your preparedness is the solid base underfoot, that holds you, when you find yourself in a situation where your city or town has been given over to chaos and FEMA is footing the bill perpetually for men with guns to stand on your street corners.

The rights we think we have are an illusion at best. The Washington establishment, in nutshell “allows” us to think we have rights…think we own property. That in turn keeps the balance. Were that not the case…there would not just be profound civil unrest, but rebellion and anarchy. Like many, I was raised in a very patriotic home. Ours were generations that military service was a source of pride. Over the years I learned…and to borrow from that movie line, “sometimes ya gotta question authority boy”.
We were NOT the country I was led to believe. Yes, we were considerably better than many…but if we’re putting it on a “scale” does that matter. Example– and this is only one. The sinking of the USS Maine in Havana Harbor in 1898…which led to the Spanish-American war. Unfortunately, if we examine the facts of the sinking, it is more likely the explosion and subsequent sinking was either an accident [fate], or worse…we sank our own ship. The blast blew the hull outward. It was not a penetration, not a mine, but the ship was filled with munitions. It was of course an armored cruiser of the period. We can cite many examples…some much more damming.
Today, I am retired. My life experiences are quite varied and all of them have contributed to my “prepper/survivalist” lifestyle. One that I have had for a lifetime. The government will have no qualms taking what you…or I have. It does not matter if it is a can of beans, ammunition, your property, your freedoms [those are not allowed by government, but by God]…or if necessary to meet their ends…your life.
Did the deep state plan decades ago 911 to implement their The Patriot Act and the Dr Fauci Covid Plandemic. We currently have been in a funk and got a Manchurian Candidate disassembling America through our lying eyes?
Like the turbulent days after the stock market crash the depression followed. We see something like that with the current leadership destroying our ability to drill for oil because of climate change and the open southern border. We see foriegn nationals who are rapist, criminals slowly killing off natural born Americans to make way for the new replacements coming.

As far as FEMA and Martial Law go, it’s totally impossible for them to declare ML over the entire country, AND enforce it. The military and NG and AR do NOT have the manpower to shut down anything more than one major city. Remember, very very few in the military are truly boots on the ground types. Most are cooks, mechanics, medical, supply, and on and on. They are NOT going to be picking up a rifle and standing watch…it won’t happen.
FEMA is not going to be coming door to door collecting supplies either. If it is THAT bad, and nationwide, that they cannot get supplies through normal channels, they aren’t coming at all. They are crawling into their holes hiding too, and if it is regional, then their supply chain can handle it.
Your measly 100 cans of beans and 300 pounds of rice, and 55 gallons of gasoline would cost them more in resources to come and get, than what they’d actually get out of it.
What they would do, is use this law to go and take from places that are making those cans of beans, and bagging up that rice, and secure fuel depots, as well as warehouses storing goods that they need or want, and they will not be handing them out, they will be taking them to their own hole in the ground to ride out the storm.
They may also go to farmers who have planted 20,000 acres of wheat, soybean, corn, and so on, and say that’s ours now, and secure it with a few military types, and harvest it, and load it right into their trucks, and be gone with it, but they are not coming to Joe citizen and say give me what’s in your pantry.
They may also secure large ranches of cattle, pork, and poultry, and take those, but they’re not coming to Joe citizen, and say give me that 50 pound of beef in your freezer, and 100 cans of hamburger you canned last year….not happening.
It’s MUCH easier to have meat alive and walking around taking care of itself in the field, and watched over by military personal, and harvest it as needed, than to find freezer space and shelf space for what they have taken from Joe citizen, and who knows if he even canned it correctly or how long it has been in the freezer or if it is even safe to eat.
The gov has plans for all sorts of things, but that does not mean it’s going to happen, or what you’re reading is even interpreted correctly. I mean they have battle plans to go to war with Canada…..so should Canada be shaking in their boots and preparing to fight the US military?
And if you think the UN will come here and do anything, that’s just as crazy. I mean if the USA is at that point, and it’s THAT bad, it means we have probably been attacked, and NO country is sending their people anywhere to help anyone, and if there’s no attack, then it’s not “THAT” bad, and no need for UN troops to begin with. If our own military can’t handle the problem, what makes you think the UN can?
I think our gov would hide in their holes and stay there until probably 70% or more of the population is dead or dying, before they even begin to come out, and then who knows what would happen.
The City of Seattle is planning to have illegals fill the ranks of its police department. Illegals join our military, how long before the enforcers are all non citizens and have no devotion to the nation or its people? Sounds like the ideal type of enforcers a fledgling one world government would want to enforce its directives. Just a thought.
Bill, it’s not whether or not those cans of food were preserved properly. It’s that by taking them away from those who have it, even if only a select few, they get the populace to bow down to the powers that be. And the word gets out that we BETTER COMPLY OR ELSE.
They don’t NEED to take it all, just enough to further intimidate us.

I kind of like don’t care, got my supplies, and either I die or that fema dude dies, don’t mean much to me anymore. I grew up “prepping”, now why did I if I don’t care no more?
