By now, I’m sure you’re familiar with New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s decision to issue an emergency public health order to suspend the right to carry firearms in and around the city of Albuquerque.
Never mind the optics of yet another set of constitutional rights being trampled under the guise of ‘public health’, this move represents a disturbing trend where government officials continue to blatantly disregard constitutional law and public opinion for the purpose of carrying out an agenda that’s inconsistent with that of whom she’s supposed to serve.
Even her own state’s top law enforcer, Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen, stated in an earlier news conference: ‘It’s unconstitutional, so there’s no way we can enforce that order.’ He also went on to say: ‘This ban does nothing to curb gun violence.’
So, What Are We Talking About Here?
Was the Governor acting out of good faith, sincerely interested in reducing violent crime? Not according to the boots on the ground like Sheriff Allen or the endless statistical data involving criminal shootings.

Perhaps it’s something else then. Could it be an attempt to demoralize her constituents by flaunting her heavy-handed authority or is she merely testing the constitutional waters before going full tyrant?
Either way, for those who consume the mainstream media narrative that Grisham is acting in the name of ‘public health’, this event has achieved its goal of further distancing them from the patriotic principles that built this great country of ours.
What Does This Mean for You?
Well, that depends on what state you call home and how much your 2nd Amendment rights have already been eroded.
For Constitutional Carry states like Alaska, Arizona, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Tennessee, the situation that occurred in New Mexico can happen at a moment’s notice.
Like a thief in the night, these things are usually pushed through by way of an emergency order at the end of the work week.
This way, the unsuspecting patriots who might be carrying can be apprehended and their firearms confiscated when they’re at leisure.
For the folks who live in Non-Constitutional Carry states, the issue’s no longer ‘The Right to Bear Arms’, but rather the right to purchase and keep arms, so make sure you’re stocked up with everything you need to protect yourself and those you love!
What Can You Do?
First and foremost, pay attention to local politics. What affects you and your community is what matters the most!
Hold your local leaders accountable to the Constitution which they swore to uphold.
It was President Franklin Delano Roosevelt who wisely said: ‘In politics, nothing happens by accident, if it happens you can bet it was planned that way.’
So, keep your eyes open, what may appear like a poor attempt at overturning a Constitutional right, could, in fact, be the lead-up to something more sinister coming your way, and don’t think for a moment that it won’t extend beyond the 2nd Amendment…

She had to know that it would fall that way. But she did get to try to look good nationally by implying doing something was preferable to doing nothing to curb “gun violence”. Problem is… guns aren’t inheritly violent. It is catch and release of violent criminals while courts have become soft on crime that encourages violence. It is the attitude of corruption that says, “grease my palm and I’ll look the other way”. It is a government gone insane and people willing to agree to anything to feel safe. Trading freedom for safety is a sand trap easier to get into than out of. She’d love nothing more than to be the VP of another Dem President. Also is there not a clause put into the constitution that states that any law put into place that is in direct opposition to the Laws Set Forth in the Constitution is unconstitutional and against the law.
