Last year, the new Radically Invasive Projectile (R.I.P.) 9mm took the civilian and law enforcement markets by storm.
One thing’s for sure: this is a catchy, well marketed bullet… But is it really “the last round you’ll ever need”? How well does it really performs? How much does it cost? … find out more:
Here is the video that took over the internet last year:

The RIP round looks scary and does scary things!
It was intended to be used for gun-toting women against would-be attackers. The round uses its forward momentum to send the edges of the bullet ripping apart into the attacker. This not only puts a round into the target, it also sends shrapnel into various parts of the body as well, effectively destroying vital organs. (Source)
The 9mm RIP round – stats:
– 16″ Penetration
– Approximate 6″ diameter spread
– 96 gr projectile
– 2″ Grouping at 25 yrds
– 1265 FPS / 490 Muzzle Energy
– 9 Separate Wound Channels
– Precision Machined
– Solid Copper / Lead Free
– Defeats all known barriers such as sheet metal, sheet rock, windshields, plywood, multiple layers of denim and/or heavy layers of clothing. (Source)
The RIP Ammo (9mm) sells for $43.8 / box (20 rounds), free shipping.

Want all the info I can get on this baby.
Then, after the round you fired, shreds the perps insides, you will get sued by his survivors because you used an excessively destructive round. Although, I’d much rather defend my choice of rounds after the perp has been incapacitated than think about my widow grieving because I used a round that was incapable of taking care of business.
I like to keep abreast of the latest weapon/ammo developments…hence I have a couple of boxes of these in each caliber. I like the concept of multiple wounds…a lot like using smaller sized birdshot…a greater chance of multiple hits to put down a bird. This round would certainly degrade your opponent’s full mission capability…to kill you.
I have a Taurus judge. Do they manufacture rip colt45 rounds?
