After buying up approximately 242,000 acres of farmland valued at more than $690 million, he now holds the title of the “largest private owner of agricultural fields in America”. Oddly, he was never a farmer. Nor does he have any background in farming. So, what gives? Could it be he knows something we don’t?
Scarcity means control. And if a nationwide crisis were to occur, those who manage and distribute the food would control the population. Is Mr. Gates privy to information on some impending apocalyptic event in the near future? Of course, this is only speculation. No one really knows what’s in Mr. Gates’ head, except the man himself. But it is dubious, to say the least.
What’s Up With Zuck?
While we’re on the subject of a possible doomsday scenario, let’s take a look at what’s going on with the world’s 5th richest man, Mark Zuckerberg. In a recent article, journalist Guthrie Scrimgeour detailed how he’s building a 1,400-acre compound complete with an underground shelter that’s equipped with its own energy, food, water, and what appears to be a blast-resistant door. It seems like he’s getting ready for something BIG. But in all fairness, who really knows what he knows? I’m always torn about hearing stories like this.
What I mean by that is when it all goes down/collapses, half of me wants the 1% to be up here with the rest of us and not safe in some stocked up bunker fortress so they can face the consequences of the problems that they helped cause.

Miss Sherry, I can assure you that neither Trump, Biden or any of the others I mentioned are on our side or care about us. You’re absolutely correct, he’s not in it for the money because he already has money. He’s in it for the power, ego and control. The reason I know, not think, know that he doesn’t care about us is because I’ve seen it first hand. I served in Afghanistan(1st Batallion, 8th Marines) and was going to serve for another tour when I was wounded in action in 2018. I lost pretty much my entire left leg all the way up to my upper thigh. When I came back to the states and was going through physical therapy and teaching myself how to walk again, Trump came to visit me and the other wounded service members. When he came into my room, he patted me on the shoulder uncaring like I was a child that had a scrape and said the typical thank you for your service and sacrifice etc. But that’s not what made me realize he doesn’t care. He leaned in and said to me “so……. What is it that you want?” As if somehow a stroke of a pen would fix everything. How about my leg back? Or maybe pulling our military out of Afghanistan as soon as possible because you have the authority to do so? People often either forgot or ignore the fact that the right wing and left wing are attached to the same bird. I know this is the internet and you have no reason to believe and that’s fine, but you can’t convince me otherwise. Before you or anyone else starts to insult me and call me a dumb liberal supporter or whatever, just know I’m neither. I lost faith in this country’s political system and leadership a long time ago. To me, Trump is just as bad as Biden. I understand is a prepper, if things ever do collapse, my odds of survival are slim because of my mobility. In the military personnel could only read or use classified documents to perform their mission and only return those items back to the safe. If not those personnel would be jailed, fined or worse.

I was in the Army for sometime. Some of the sand box injuries could have been much less. In the early stages of the Iraq War, lot’s causalities happened in Humvee’s. The manufacture and the government finally got extra protection plates to fortify the bottoms of those vehicles. Yes not everything is perfect, it took a congressman to get the kit put, he was a former Marine.

I guess I am an odd duck. I was raised with peculiar values, such as: Only spend the money that you have (don’t buy with debt). As a boy scout: Be Prepared. I have always lived on the cheap … I currently own jeans that are probably 20 years old. I have tennis shoes, that need to be replaced as they are smooth soled … no tread at all, and are probably 10 or more years old. At 73 I have owned a lot of vehicles. I have only bought 2 new … the rest used, and I keep my cars on average at least 12 years. I am not a competent liar, though if I say I am broke, it is likely a lie. I compartmentalize my money … (so much for this project … so much for that …) so if I say I am broke, it means, cash to freely spend on wasteful stuff I don’t need is gone … though I could have $500 in my pocket. Not one stick of furniture in my home, was bought new. I did buy a new mattress for my bed, but I built the frame out of scrap lumber I got dumpster diving. If I won a million dollars … (though I don’t gamble) you would never know it … I would drive my 18 year old car, still visit yard sales, and occasionally dumpster dive.

That’s how we try to live too. What is the point of a new car. Same microwave and toaster for 22 years. Unfortunately all the bigger appliances died and had to be replaced. Hubby and I paid off a 20 year house loan in 8 years. We live debt free now. So we can work for ourselves and live on a lot less than most of the population.

The point is, I have heard your story before but with a different president. So, who actually experienced this moment. Was it you, with Trump, or the other young soldier, with Biden? I really cannot accept that this happened twice. But if you say it did, I will not challenge you.

For clarification for you and in case others are reading, it’s a vet that had a eerily similar expierience to me and explained it on a podcast called, the Shawn Ryan Show.
