History shows us exactly what happens. Look at Ireland: their prime farm land was owned by UK aristocracy and the food was exported to the UK and elsewhere. The Irish had no claim on it.
The Irish were left with whatever would grow on the remaining land, mainly potatoes, and the rest is history. The potato famine killed millions of Irish, and also resulted in the Irish diaspora as people escaped the misery created by the British ruling hierarchy.
Just like in Ireland, what is happening in the US is by design, and for much the same reason: to tread the people into the ground. The Irish were targeted, as are the population of the US today.
